TEG. Color and black and white plates with tissue guards in each volume with photogravures by Wm. H. Gilbo, printing and binding by Trow Co., and color reproductions by G. H. Buek & Co. Spines are sun toned. There is soiling to some of the covers. The frontispiece in volume one is present but partially detached. Rear gutter of volumes 1 & 7 are cracked. There is staining to the top of the plate inserted between pages 1430-31 (in volume V) which does not effect the image itself. Paint speckles (?) on the back cover of volume V and the spine of volume III. Damp staining to volume VII which caused waviness to the pages; the text is still readable. Good to Very Good.
