Small quarto, 28.5 cm x 22 cm, Volume 1: 928 pp, Volume 2: 1108 pp. This work is separated into two volumes and is a reprint of the originally published 1899 copy by J.H. Beers & Co. Both volumes have an "ex-libris" sticker from the prior owner. Both volumes have some minor scuffing on the bottom. Volume one has a small indent on the top of page 888/89 but does not impact the text on the page. There is also a small stain on the fore-edge of volume one. The spine gilt is starting to fade on both books in different areas but the cover gilt remains vibrant.
