Complete as issued, but two additional volumes were later published. Octavo. No dust jackets. Map endpapers, usually maps, and frontispiece in each volume. Each book is a a first edition with Scribner's A and seal on copyright page. A bit of edgewear to the slipcase and the slipcase is split at one side. Nice set. A monumental work, still considered one of the definitive works on Washington. Very Good / Good (slipcase). Item #90183
