Folio. 376pp, vii 376pp, viii 368pp. Uniformly bound into 3/4 brown morocco by Zaehnsdorf (signed binding) with pebbled boards. AEG. Five raised bands to spines and gilt spine lettering. Marble endpapers. Frontispiece and in-text wood cuts illustrations, plates, maps, throughout. Each volume indexed. Number written on TOC page. Spines are faded to tan. Front covers of two of the volumes are also sun toned. Bottom corners are bumped. Very Good. Item #83132

Provenance: Several bookplates on front endpapers in each volume: armorial bookplate for Arthur Croxall Whitehead, map bookplate for W. Emmert Swigart, and for Juniata College Friends of the Library.
