Divided into two parts. The first is an essay by Allen G. Debus with biographical information and section headings including "Robert Fludd and the Rosicrucian Apologies", "The Wheat Experiments in the Fluddean Corpus" and bibliographical essay and more. The second part is a facsimile of the text of "A Philosophicall Key". "Written in defence of his first publications on the Rosicrucian literature and the macrocosm-microcosm universe, Fludd added an alchemical experiment on wheat which he considered to be an investigation into the very heart of nature." Fludd had an interest in many areas of science and the occult. His memory techniques are described in France Yate's work "The Art of Memory" and his is best known for his 1617 work "Utriusque Cosmi Maioris Scilicet et Minoris Metaphysica"
