Three volumes bound as one with seperate title pages and paginations. 196pp, 83pp, 85- 224pp. Second title page reads "...upon the matter of the Charge of High Crimes and Misdemeanors, Presented Against him on the 5th Day of May, 1786. Part II", and the third title page reads "Minutes of the Evidence Taken Before a Committee of the House of Commons, Being a Committee of the Whole house Part III" Bound in 3/4 leather with marble boards and black leather spine label. Previous owner's name on title page. The pages had been inconsistantly cut at time of binding. This means that on some pages there is almost no white space above or below the text. Armorial bookpalte of James B. Ferguson on front free endpaper. Page 195 of the first part is damaged with a piece missing and some words lost. A modern paperback facsimile is included with this book which has the missing page. Some rubbing to joints, binding still tight. Item #70316
