Machine Plates.
Longman, Hurst, Rees, Orme & Brown, Paternoster Row, 1807-1815. Hardcover. This is a bound collection of 103 early 19th century plates depicting engravings of various machines. Plates are titled and dated have have a publication statement. Most are attributed to Wilson Lowry, some others are done by Mr. H Maudslay, J. Farey. Bound togther in marble boards; there is no title page. Outer hinge is cracked and weak. Spine reads "Machine / Rees" and is fairly heavily chipped. Some of the plates are age toned but are overall in nice condition. Item #70238
