Bound in older leather, with new spines. Volumes 2 and 3 title page reads "The Memoirs and Secret Negotiations of John Ker" and are dated 1726. Seperate title page for "Remarks on the Government of Several Parts of Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Hamburgh, Lubeck, and Hansiatick-towns..." by William Ker reprinted in London 1727 in volume 3. Lacking the portrait frontispieces. Includes folding map "A New Map of Louisiana and the River Mississippi" opposite page 45 of volume 2 in nice condition. Vol 2 largely devoted to French encroachments in the Mississippi Valley. Bit of scuffing to the edges of the leather. Very Good. Item #70231
