Octavo. 250pp ,xii 196pp. The work by Wood is a fourth edition while the Coddington work is a second edition. Bound in 3/4 brown leather with marble boards. 8 fold-out plates in rear. The spine is worn and its top panel is chipped off. Hinges are weak but still holding. There is edgewear to the fold-out plates. Binding copy. Provenance: Previous owner's bookplate, professor of Newtonian studies Alan Shaprio, on front fixed endpaper. In an older hand "John Foster , Magdalene College, Cambridge" Fair. Item #66972
