Russell was an Irish foreign war correspondent to the London Times who won fame for his coverage of the Crimean War. This work details Russell's letters from his time in America from 1861- April 1862 at the start of the civil war. Russell gave accounts from the North and South. Uncommon work. Very Good - (minus).
