This limited edition with a new forward by the author and illustrated with woodcuts by Clare Leighton, is printed from newly-set Granjon type on special Holland made stock. It consists of 325 copies signed by the author of which this is copy number 309. There is a crease running down the spine and a 1 1/2 cm closed tear to the top of the spine. Author Ole Edvart Rølvaag's (Giants in the Earth) copy with his name on the front endpaper. Very Good. Item #55610
